Setting fire to centers of repression and regime symbols in solidarity with protests against water and power outages and rising bread prices
On Saturday, August 16, 2025, in solidarity with public protests against water and power outages and the rising price of bread, rebel youths carried out 15 operations, setting fire to centers of repression and looting as well as symbols of the clerical regime in Tehran and 14 other cities, including Rasht, Sanandaj, Iranshahr, Qazvin, Kerman, Isfahan, Izeh, Sooran, Malard, Andimeshk, Aligudarz, Sureshjan (Shahrekord), Saravan, and Farsan.
In this series of operations, the following centers were set ablaze:
• Three IRGC Basij centers in the cities of Rasht, Sanandaj, and Sooran
• Two regime looting and repression centers in Tehran and Malard
• A Basij operational base known as Balal in Iranshahr
• A regime repression center in Qazvin
Additionally, a symbol belonging to the Ministry of Intelligence’s espionage headquarters in Faresan, along with regime symbols, signs, and billboards featuring images of Khomeini, Khamenei, Raisi, and Qassem Soleimani in the cities of Kerman, Isfahan, Izeh, Andimeshk, Aligudarz, Sureshjan (Shahrekord), and Saravan, were set on fire.
