Khamenei Has Crossed the Boundaries of Savagery and Brutality
At Least 51 Prisoners Executed in the Past Week
In his fear of inevitable overthrow, Khamenei has crossed the boundaries of savagery and brutality. According to reports received by Tuesday noon, only on Sunday and Monday, September 28 and 29, thirty-one prisoners were executed. The total number of executions in the first week of Mehr (September 23-29) has reached fifty-one.
On Monday, September 29, nine prisoners were hanged: Mohammadreza Berenjgani in Isfahan; Morad Jafar Beigi, 31, Kamal Asadi, 38, and Samad Rezapanah, 40, in Qom; and Yaser Bakhshi in Semnan. The names of four other individuals were included in yesterday’s statement.
On Sunday, September 28, twenty-two prisoners were sent to the gallows: Reza Zare, 32, and Reza Heidari in Karaj Central Prison; Ali Samsari, 29, and Sasan Samsari, 26, in Sari; Salah al-Din Aqa Mohammadi in Yasuj; Kourosh Sa’adati, 26, in Kashan; Mehran Sahraei, 30, and Manouchehr Shahbazi, 33, in Shiraz; Ghodrat Nazari in Khorramabad; and Reza Shahlaei Nia in Kerman. The names of the other executed prisoners were announced in the September 29 statement.
On Tuesday, September 30, several prisoners, including Mahmoud Gheytarani in Sanandaj, were hanged. The names of other victims will be announced after verification.
On Saturday, September 27, Younes Ahmadi, 27, in Khorramabad, and Mehran Biranvand in Hamedan were hanged. On Thursday, September 25, Mehdi Salaripour was executed in Kerman.
