Iran: Names of 12 Arrested PMOI Supporters
- Call on the UN to Hold the Regime Accountable for the Detainees and to Visit Detention Centers
The religious fascism ruling Iran, besieged by internal and external crises and fearing the support of young people for the rebellious youths and Resistance Units, continues to arrest the families and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in various cities, alongside a wave of consecutive executions.
The names and details of some of those arrested are as follows:
- Nasrollah Fallahi, 69, from Pakdasht, Tehran, a political prisoner in the 1980s and father of Arghavan Fallahi (a political prisoner sentenced to death), was arrested on 4 October 2026. He had previously been arrested in 2022 and was recently released after serving four years in prison.
- Zeinab Saremi, daughter of the martyred PMOI member Ali Saremi, was arrested in October 2026 in Tehran.
- Gholamhossein Saremi, 70, a political prisoner in the 1980s and brother of the martyred Ali Saremi, who holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences, was arrested on 1 October 2026, in Tehran.

- Reza Badavi, 40, from Arak, the date of his arrest is unknown.
- Hadi Safari, 50, from Delijan, who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, the date of his arrest is unknown.
The announcement of the names of other detainees is deferred due to security considerations. However, all names have been provided to the United Nations, human rights bodies, and international human rights organizations.
The Iranian Resistance once again calls on the United Nations, particularly the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Special Rapporteur on Iran, to take urgent and effective action to hold the regime accountable for the status and conditions of the detainees and to visit their places of detention.
After seven and a half months, the regime has still not provided any information regarding the 82 PMOI members who entered Ali Khamenei’s Office in the early hours of 23 February 2026 and their names and details were previously announced.
Furthermore, the inhuman regime refuses to return the bodies of nine PMOI members executed in 2025 and 2026, and even denies their families the locations of their graves.
