NCRI – A member of the Egyptian Parliament has said that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s visit to Lebanon is tied to the domestic upheavals and the pressures of the main opposition against the regime.
According to al-Hurra TV, Dr. Jamal Zahran, a parliamentarian in Cairo and a political science professor said, “This visit is linked to the domestic situation in Iran because there is internal opposition and pressures by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) against the regime.”
Dr. Zahran added, “This regime confronts increasing opposition in Iran through inhumane actions. It thus tries to cover up internal abuses with foreign gestures and thwart the opposition.”
