  • The regime’s Health Ministry: We are worried about the sixth COVID-19 outbreak. The COVID-19 infection in West Azerbaijan, Kermanshah, and Yazd provinces is rising. The situation is worrying. (Mehr news agency, October 19, 2021)
  • Member of the regime’s Parliamentary Health Commission: Complete abolition of telecommuting in Tehran announced by the governor means opening the floodgates to the sixth COVID-19 outbreak. (ISNA news agency, October 19, 2021)
  • Domestically produced “Fakhra” COVID-19 Vaccine Manager: Given that the Health Ministry will not advance purchase of the COVID-19 vaccines as promised, and while volunteers for injection have decreased from 1,500 to 100 per day, we are going to stop the production of the vaccine.
  • Ilam Medical University: Ilam is one of the provinces where the increase in COVID-19 patients and hospitalizations in the past seven days is quite evident.
  • West Azerbaijan Medical University: 756 new COVID-19 patients and 18 deaths were registered in the past 24 hours.
  • Arak Medical University: In the past 24 hours, 337 new COVID-19 patients were identified, and 10 died. The treatment staff is severely worn out.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, that the COVID-19 death toll in 547 cities had exceeded 460,200. In Tehran, the number of victims has reached 107,756, Khorasan Razavi 37,750, Isfahan 31,240, Khuzestan 28,215, West Azerbaijan 16,858, Fars 16,705, Lorestan 15,300, Sistan and Baluchestan 12,950, Qom 12,605, Kerman 12,282, Hamedan 8,608, Central Province 8,418, Kermanshah 8,389, North Khorasan 5,874, Ilam 4,393, and South Khorasan 3,971.
