  • Kurdistan Medical University: 343 new COVID-19 patients were identified in the past 24 hours. Out of 834 COVID-19 patients hospitalized, 86 are admitted to ‌ICU. (Fars news agency, October 22, 2021)

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Friday, October 22, 2021, that the number of fatalities in 547 cities across Iran had exceeded 462,200. In Tehran it has reached 108,246, Khorasan Razavi 37,855, Isfahan 31,410, Khuzestan 28,345, Mazandaran 17,020, West Azerbaijan 16,998, Fars 16,830, Gilan 16,130, Alborz 13,618, Sistan and Baluchestan 12,990, Kermanshah 8,459, Hormozgan 7,765, Kurdistan 7,412, Semnan 6,210, Qazvin 5,249, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 3,515.
