Assault on Ashraf – No. 4
NCRI – Some of the agents brought to Ashraf today came from Basra, Amara, Nasseriah and Baghdad and they are mainly between 15 and 18. These agents were taken to Najaf, Karbala and Samara in the past two days and the regime’s embassy paid for all the costs.
Other agents were taken from other cities to assemble at the southern flank of Ashraf. Despite pressures and intimidations by Qods force operatives, hardly any of tribesmen or local residents of Diyala Governorate took part in the ridiculous show today.
Despite extensive efforts and heavy cost by the regime’s embassy, the terrorist Qods force, Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS), and the committee within Iraqi prime ministry tasked to suppress Ashraf, today’s stage-managed show war poorly attended and the number of participants was far less than what they anticipated. A large amount of food prepared by the embassy for the agents was left over. The number of agents arrived at Ashraf in 21 coaches at 12:00 noon did not exceed 50.
In a failed attempt the agents tried to bring down the southern fence of Ashraf using shovel and axes. Around noon, they began attacking Ashraf residents with stones, bricks, metal bars and various sharp-edged objects. As a result, 108 residents including 55 women were injured with some hospitalized. Ms. Fatemeh Noori was hit in the eye and her cornea is damaged.
