Iran: Execution of at Least 22 Prisoners on October 27 and 28, and 10 Prisoners on October 21
Fearing an explosion of public outrage, the henchmen of the regime’s judiciary executed 32 prisoners on Tuesday, October 27, Wednesday, October 28, and Wednesday, October 21.
On Wednesday, October 28, seven prisoners were sent to the gallows: Faramarz Seyfouri (38) and Esmail Moradvand in Qazvin; Behnam Molani (34) in Semnan; Reza Talebi in Mashhad; Mohammad Tajik and Yaser Shokri in Qezelhessar; and Amrollah Siri (Hadavand) in Karaj.
On Tuesday, October 27, the clerical regime’s criminals ruthlessly hanged 15 prisoners: Ardeshir Karimi and Khalil Gholizadeh in Zanjan, Farhad Tavan in Ilam, Farshad Qaderi in Karaj, one prisoner in Rasht, and Davoud Rokhbin in Kashan. Five prisoners, including Habibollah Davoudi (26), Rasoul Eirak (Brahoui) (67), Habibollah Gholami (24), Alireza Afaq (22), and one other, were executed in Mashhad; Alireza Afaq’s two brothers, Javad and Jalal, were executed in the same prison last year. Additionally, five prisoners—Ehsan Sobhani (29), Jafar Rostamzadeh Mashhadi, Hashem Memari, and Gholamhossein Yari—were executed in Shiraz. Gholamhossein Yari was executed on charges related to the death of a member of the repressive State Security Force (SSF).
On Sunday, October 25, two prisoners, Ali Mokhtari and Amirali Einabadi, were executed in Shahrekord and Neyshabur, respectively.
On Wednesday, October 21, 10 prisoners were sent to the gallows: Morteza Jafari, Mobarak Mohammadi, and Qasem Mulla-Amini in Isfahan; Atieh Jamei in Ahvaz; Ahmad Baranizadeh and one other prisoner in Qezelhessar; Mojtaba Gerai (38) in Semnan; and Navid Mehdipour (27), Farshad Jamalabadi, and Seyed Borjali Taqizadeh Amirsalari in Shiraz.
The Iranian Resistance once again calls on the United Nations, relevant human rights agencies, and international organizations to take immediate and effective action to stop the systematic wave of executions in Iran, which serves exclusively as a tool for the religious fascism to instill terror and suppress a potential popular uprising.
