Mrs. Rajavi: A regime in which all factions participate in torture and executions must be shunned by the international community, and its leaders must be brought to justice.

The horrific torture and murder of Mohammad Mirmousavi, a young man from Lahijan, by the criminal State Security Force (SSF) once again reveals the vile nature of the bloodthirsty dictatorship ruling Iran.

After arresting Mohammad Mirmousavi, the regime’s henchmen brutally beat him and, despite his critical condition, abandoned him without providing any medical care. Eyewitnesses describe the signs of severe torture and beatings on his body as shocking.

The security forces and oppressive agencies have pressured the Mirmousavi family to prevent them from releasing any details about the circumstances of his death.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, in response to the heartbreaking murder of Mohammad Mirmousavi under torture, stated that the mullahs’ regime cannot survive even a single day without repression, torture, and executions. The execution of 126 prisoners in one month (Iranian month of Mordad) alone, along with public executions in Shahroud following the inauguration of Khamenei’s new president and cabinet appointments, makes it clear that all factions of the regime are directly responsible for the executions, torture, and repression. She called on human rights defenders worldwide to condemn this atrocity and demanded that the regime of executions and terror be shunned by the international community, and its leaders must be brought to justice.
