To call on a barbaric and medival regime to exercise a ‘constructive behavior’ and hope that ‘it participates in the talks with good intention and be prepared for constructive negotiations’ sends a message of weakness to this regime encouraging it to continue with its nuclear bomb program, said Mrs. Rajavi.
She added: The failed policy of appeasement in the past three decades has provided the blood-thirsty mullahs the opportunity to intensify suppression, expand export of terrorism and fundamentalism, and to speed up their nuclear projects without any worry to such an extent that the prospect of the regime acquiring nuclear bomb has evolved to an urgent threat to the entire international community.
She concluded: Democratic change in Iran by the Iranian people and their Resistance is the ultimate solution to relieve the region and the world from the nightmare of fundamentalists equipped with nuclear bomb; the only appropriate way to deal with this regime is to adopt a firm policy against it including comprehensive sanctions, particulary oil sanctions.
