Iran: 14 Executions in Two Days in Ghezel Hesar, Mahabad, Amol, Isfahan, and Bushehr Prisons
At least 850 executions during Pezeshkian’s tenure – Execution and mass killings are the common ground among the regime’s rival factions to prevent an uprising
The mullah’s regime executioners sent nine prisoners to the gallows on Wednesday, February 19. These prisoners were: Reza Anzalichi, Hossein Yavari, Behrouz Mohammadi, Sasan Mirhadi, and three others in Ghezel Hesar, Malek Parsa in Amol, and Rasoul Ashour in Isfahan.
On Thursday, February 20, five more prisoners, named Shahin Mahdavi and Souran Aminpour in Mahabad, Mohammad Barahoui and Hossein Sasani in Ghezel Hesar, and one more prisoner in Bushehr, fell victim to the execution and killing machine of the mullahs’ regime.
Additionally, beyond the names listed in the previous statement, on Tuesday, February 18, Mehdi Iranian and a woman with the last name Bagherinejad were hanged in Shiraz. On Monday, February 17, Heydar Babaei (Rostam) and Burhan Vasimollahi were executed in Isfahan, and on Saturday, February 15, Abbas Bamari was hanged in Birjand.
Thus, Pezeshkian’s criminal record in the past six months has recorded at least 850 executions. Repression, torture, and executions remain the common denominator of all factions within the regime, which, despite internal conflicts, increasingly resort to these brutal measures to instill fear, prevent uprisings, and delay their inevitable overthrow.
