The Barbaric Execution of 30 Prisoners on October 7 and 8, on the Eve of October 10, World Day Against the Death Penalty

Execution of 1,654 Prisoners from October 2024 to October 2025

While most countries around the world are commemorating October 10 as the World Day Against the Death Penalty today, October 10, 2025, the criminal Khamenei, through barbaric and mass executions, is plunging an ever-increasing number of Iranians—especially women and children—into mourning, deprivation, and orphanhood.

On the eve of the World Day Against the Death Penalty, the regime of execution and terror executed at least 30 prisoners in just two days—Tuesday and Wednesday, October 7 and 8, 2025. This heinous crime exposes the clerical regime’s terror of an impending eruption of public outrage.

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, eighteen prisoners were sent to the gallows:
Masoud Maleki in Isfahan; Sajjad Amiri, aged 37, and Heshmat Foroughi, aged 33, in Shiraz; Behnam Niknam in Amol; Shahab Jaberi and another prisoner named Rahman in Mashhad; Hossein Zare, Seyed Mahmoud Hosseini, Mahmoud Valiallahi, Ahmad Mohammadi, Ali Saeidzadeh Fahimi, Arman Kakavand, Milad Yari, a prisoner named Pedram, and four other prisoners in Ghezel Hesar.

On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, twelve prisoners were executed: Saber Nasiri in Aligudarz and Jalal Moradi in Taybad. The names of the other executed individuals were listed in the previous statement.

Over the past year (from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025), the religious fascism ruling Iran has recorded a bloody and unprecedented record of cruelty and crime. During this period, the execution of 1,654 prisoners was documented across 31 provinces, representing a 2.3-fold increase compared to the same period the previous year (with 851 executions), and a 2.8-fold increase compared to the year before that (with 693 executions).

The recorded statistics include 54 women, 8 juvenile offenders, and 10 public executions. Of these, 787 executions were related to drug offenses, even though the main drug trafficking networks are controlled by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Khamenei’s office.
