Iran: Astonishing Coronavirus Fatalities Exceed 350,000

  • Member of the Scientific Committee of the National Coronavirus Combat Taskforce (NCCT): There are no empty beds available for COVID-19 patients. ICUs are full. The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Friday, August 6, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 547 cities across Iran had exceeded 350,000. In Tehran, the death toll has reached 81,976, Isfahan 23,645, Khuzestan 22,156, Khorasan Razavi 21,325, East Azerbaijan 13,578, Mazandaran 13,550, West Azerbaijan 12,678, Fars 12,032, Gilan 11,281, Alborz 10,228, Sistan and Baluchestan 10,155, Golestan 8,265, Yazd 6,107, Hormozgan 6,010, Semnan 5,505, Ardabil 4,215, Bushehr 3,999, Qazvin 3,959, Zanjan 3,705, South Khorasan 3,246, Kurdistan 5,737, Kerman 8,728, Kermanshah 6,473, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 2,674.
