Khamenei seeks to prevent the uprising of an enraged people, from whom even water, electricity, and bread have been withheld, through a wave of executions
The wretched Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, in order to postpone for a few more days the overthrow of the vile clerical regime, has unleashed a new wave of indiscriminate and widespread executions and arrests to block the uprising of an angry populace deprived by the religious dictatorship even of water, electricity, and bread.
During the first week of Mordad (23-29 July), the executioners hanged at least 38 prisoners. On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, Reza Salehi in Shiraz, 28-year-old Yousef Amiri in Tabriz, Abdolzaher Faghirdadi in Qom, Mohammad Amini in Ilam, and a 25-year-old prisoner in public in Damghan were executed by hanging.
On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, Navid Rostami in Kermanshah, Mohammad Shabestan in Sari, Nazir Mohammad, and another prisoner in Birjand were hanged.
On Monday, July 28, 2025, 35-year-old Issa Narouyi (Naderi) and 26-year-old Amir Ghanbari (both Baluch compatriots) in Minab, Esmail Hajivand in Malayer, and Sadegh Allahverdi in central prison of Tabriz were executed.
On Sunday, July 27, 2025, thirteen prisoners were sent to the gallows. In addition to the heroic PMOI members Behrouz Ehsani and Mehdi Hassani, the executed included Saeed Kashani and Naser Nazari Tehrani in Ghezel Hesar, Alireza Mirforoughi and 37-year-old Saleh Khatami in Isfahan, Hamzeh Moradian in Khorramabad, Hossein Akbari in Arak, 30-year-old Mahmoud Shirbeigi in Qom, Ahmad Mahdavi, Arash Gerayi, Saber Yari, and another prisoner in Shiraz.
On Saturday, July 26, 2025, Abolfazl Shakeri in Zanjan Central Prison and Khodayar Ahmadkhani in Taybad Prison were hanged.
On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, nine prisoners were executed: Behzad Gholamzadeh and Latif Kargar in Shiraz, 30-year-old Jabar Alishahi and Ashkan Mahdipanah in Hamedan. The names of the other five prisoners were mentioned in the previous statement.
