Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 535 Cities Exceeds 252,100

  • The CEO of Behesht Zahra Cemetery (Tehran’s main cemetery): In the past two days, the death toll in Tehran has reached three digits, and since mid-November 2020, when the death toll reached over 100. The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 535 cities across Iran had exceeded 252,100. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 57,651, Isfahan 16,485, Khorasan Razavi 16,190, Khuzestan 15,169, Mazandaran 10,705, Lorestan 10,648, East Azerbaijan 10,278, West Azerbaijan 9,473, Qom 8,885, Gilan 8,826, Fars 7,427, Golestan 6,475, Alborz 6,313, Sistan and Baluchestan 5,746, Hamedan 5,698, Kerman 5,629, Central Province 5,228, Kermanshah 5,034, Semnan 4,470, Yazd 4,512, Qazvin 2,879, Hormozgan 2,860, Zanjan 2,760, Ilam 2,596, and Bushehr 2,564.
