Iran: Eight prisoners hanged savagely in Kerman

‎Three more prisoners, one of them a woman, executed in Shirwan and Orumieh

NCRI – The inhuman regime of mullahs hanged eight prisoners together in the central prison of ‎Kerman, south of Iran. (Resalat state-run daily – October 7, 2010). A woman prisoner was ‎executed in Shirwan on October 1 and two other male prisoners were hanged on ‎September 28 and 30 in Orumieh prison.

Among other suppressive practices over recent days, there has been cruel punishment of ‎two prisoners in Ahwaz by flogging them in public and the arrest of 200 people in Eastern ‎Tehran under the pretext of arresting anarchists, thugs and hooligans. (Jahan News- ‎October 6)‎

On Thursday, October 07, state-run media reported about “smashing” a night party in ‎Northern Tehran and arrest of 60 women and men, 20 to 26 years old, “who were ‎dancing.” ‎

Setting up gallows in different cities, group executions, and widespread arrests, bespeak ‎of inability of the faltering regime in confronting growing protests and hatred among the ‎Iranian people toward the clerical regime in its entirety that finds no way out of numerous ‎domestic and international crises that have engulfed it other than intensifying ‎suppression. ‎

The Iranian Resistance calls on the UN Secretary General, all human rights organizations ‎particularly the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and special rapporteurs on ‎arbitrary arrests, torture and execution to condemn dire situation of human rights in Iran ‎and take immediate measures to prevent the ongoing crimes in Iran. ‎
