The demonstrators began their march toward governor's office passing through the Ferdosi Street, Shahinshahr's business area, on their way. Tow bus load full of members of special units of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) blocked their way and tried to stop them from reaching their intended destination. The IRGC units fired tear gas into the crowd and beat up a number of the protesters.
The State Security Forces (SSF) – mullahs' suppressive police – arrested 30 demonstrators, mostly families of the shopkeepers and transferred them to an unknown location.
The mullahs' regime in its faltering state does not tolerate any protests by the people and reacts violently.
The Iranian Resistance calls on all human rights organizations, in particular, the UN high commissioner for human rights to condemn the mullahs' inhuman regime and its suppressive measures against the Iranian people.
