Iran: Deployment of SSF to Suppress Students in Schools with the Help of Pezeshkian and His Minister of Education
Pezeshkian’s Minister of Education, addressing Radan, the head of the State Security Force (SSF), stated: “Consider us your soldiers. Any mission you believe we can carry out together in this domain, we are fully at your service. The Ministry of Education is entirely at your disposal.”
In a criminal act driven by fear of a youth uprising, Khamenei, in coordination with Massoud Pezeshkian and his Minister of Education, Alireza Kazemi, has dispatched the repressive SSF to schools to suppress students.
In a joint session between the repressive SSF and the Ministry of Education, regarding the entry of this force’s personnel into schools, Kazemi shamelessly and disgustingly addressed Brigadier General Radan, the criminal commander of the SSF, stating: “In every domain, I consider myself a soldier of Commander Radan. I say with pride that he is a beloved and admirable figure in our country, someone we are proud of… Consider us your soldiers. Any mission you believe we can jointly undertake in this area, we are ready to serve… The Ministry of Education is entirely at your disposal… Together, we will accomplish important tasks. Social harm is one of the greatest and most significant threats facing our country,” as Khamenei himself has stated: “The greatest threat facing the country is the issue of social harms.”
Radan, unable to conceal his fear of students, declared: “The enemy may have realized better than I have that the most influential demographic in Iranian society is the student. You can see that they are targeting students and are trying to hijack their minds through cyberspace.”
On September 25, 2024, Khamenei had stated: “The banner of cultural infiltration, the enemy’s lifestyle, and hostile temptations must not be raised within the country in any of our institutions. Vigilance is necessary. Everyone has a duty: in the Ministry of Education, in the national broadcaster (IRIB), in the press, in the Ministry of Education, and in the Ministry of Health — which are centers for nurturing the youth — vigilance is necessary…”
The Education Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran calls on all student and teacher unions, as well as human rights organizations, to condemn the repressive measures being taken against Iranian students. It emphasizes that the rebellious students, the courageous youth, and adolescents will not allow Radan, Khamenei, or any of their forces to rest anywhere. They will not leave these acts of repression unanswered.
