Iranian regime’s embassies should be shut down, its agents should be expelled, and its leaders should be put on trial for genocide and crimes against humanity
Khamenei’s criminal henchmen hanged a Balochi prisoner named Akbar Shah Bakhsh in Zahedan prison on Saturday, January 14. On the same day, the regime’s Judiciary announced the execution of Alireza Akbari, the Iran regime’s former Deputy Minister of Defence.
On Thursday, January 12, Maher Iloli and Ali Abbaszadeh were executed in Shiraz Central Prison.
On Wednesday, January 11, 5 prisoners were hanged in Arak Central Prison; three were Azad Dadvand, Ali Garavand, and Keyvan Amini Tavakkol.
On the same day, Milad Ashoob was hanged in Lakan prison in Rasht, Shahram Mortazavi in Gorgan prison, and Reza Haji in Karaj Central prison.
On Tuesday, January 10, Mehdi Karmi was hanged in Arak prison, and Peyman Arab Gicheh was hanged in Karaj Central Prison.
On Monday, January 9, Khaliq Khizrzadeh was hanged in Bandar Abbas Central Prison, and Nazir Sorkh Kaman was hanged in Roodan Prison.
On Sunday, January 8, Mohammad Rasool Shah Bakhsh and Akhtar Mohammad were executed in Kerman prison, Pardel Ahmed Khanzahi in Zahedan prison, Majid Sadaqat in Yasouj prison, and Rashid Lundpour in Karaj central prison were executed by the regime. Mohammad Rasool Shah Bakhsh was shot eight times during his arrest in 2016 and was executed after seven years of pain and imprisonment.
On Thursday, January 5, Rostam Abbaszadeh and Mehdi Asgari were hanged in Ghezelhesar prison and Abolfazl Helvai in Dastgerd prison in Esfahan. Rostam Abbaszadeh, the father of 4 children, was sentenced to death by Moghisei, the criminal judge, on charges of carrying 100 grams of heroin. At the same time, the billion-dollar drug trade in Iran and other parts of the world is run and controlled by the IRGC.
Thus far, in addition to the two protesters of the uprising, Mohammad Mehdi Karami and Mohammad Hosseini, 24 more prisoners were hanged by Khamenei’s henchmen in almost ten days from January 5 to 14.
The Iranian resistance once again stresses the need for immediate action by the United Nations, the European Union, and its member states to force the clerical regime to stop executions and killings. This regime should be expelled from the international community, its embassies should be shut down, its agents should be dismissed, and its leaders should be brought to justice for four decades of genocide and crimes against humanity.
