Iran: Execution of Uprising Prisoner Mehran Bahramian for Attacking a Vehicle of Suppressive Forces and the Death of Repressive Agent Mohsen Rezaei

Maryam Rajavi: Another Black Page in Khamenei’s Record of Crimes that Fuels the Fire of the People’s Anger and Uprising

This morning, Saturday, September 6, 2025, Khamenei’s executioners hanged uprising prisoner Mehran Bahramian, 32 years old, and a brave son of the people of Semirom, in Dastgerd Prison of Isfahan. Morad Bahramian, a close relative of Mehran, was martyred on November 16, 2022, during the uprising, shot dead by suppressive forces.

According to Mizan, the judiciary’s outlet, the executioners accused Mehran Bahramian of attacking a “security forces’ vehicle” in the Semirom area of Isfahan Province on December 31, 2022, during which one suppressive agent named Mohsen Rezaei was killed.

Mehran and Fazel Bahramian, the brothers of the martyr of the uprising, Morad Bahramian, were arrested in December 2022 and transferred to the IRGC Intelligence solitary confinement ward, where they were subjected to severe interrogation and torture. Subsequently, both were sentenced to death.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi said: “With the brutal execution of Mehran Bahramian, another black page has been added to the record of crimes committed by the ruling religious fascism in Iran. These endless bloodsheds will not cure any of the crises of this regime; they only fuel the fire of the people’s anger. The day is not far when the chapter of tyranny and oppression by the ruling mullahs will be closed, and its leaders will face justice before the heroic people of Iran.”

The Iranian Resistance once again urges immediate action by the United Nations, the European Union, and member states to save prisoners sentenced to death, particularly political prisoners.
