Driven by fear of uprising and the regime’s downfall, Khamenei has descended into a frenzy of bloodshed and violence

Gripped by panic over the possibility of an uprising and the collapse of the regime, Ali Khamenei has plunged deeper into a state of bloodlust and brutality. Forty-one people were executed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday—an average of nearly 14 per day, or one execution less than every two hours—setting a shocking new record not seen in decades. On Wednesday, May 28 alone, 18 prisoners were executed. On Tuesday, May 27, there were 9 executions, and on Monday, May 26, another 14.

On Wednesday, in addition to the six people previously reported in previous statement, the following were hanged: Alimorad Ranjbaran, 29, in Qazvin Central Prison; Safar Kamali, 36, in Qom Central Prison; Amirhossein Mohammadi, Shahriar Aliabadi, 27, and Hossein Yari—along with two other unidentified prisoners in Ghezel Hesar Prison; Mohammad-Hadi Farhadi, 33, in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz; Mohammad Asadi, Shahram Abbaszadeh, 23, and Alireza Ahmadi, 35, in Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan; and Taleb Ahmadpour, 32, in Sepidar Prison in Ahvaz.
