On Thursday, September 11, 2025, a large crowd gathered at the grave of Mehran Bahramian, the brave son of the people of Semirom, in the Isfahan cemetery to honor his memory. Mehran Bahramian, a prisoner of the 2022 uprising, was executed on Saturday, September 6, 2025, by order of Ali Khamenei in Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan. Out of fear of public protests, the regime did not allow the body of this martyr to be buried in his hometown and was compelled to inter him in Isfahan.

Thursday’s gathering took place while special units and security forces, through their heavy presence and the creation of an atmosphere of fear and intimidation, sought to prevent people from assembling. Yet despite all pressures and restrictions, the people honored Mehran’s memory, and those gathered stressed that they would continue his path until freedom is achieved.
