Iran Protest-No. 70
Today, Friday, October 21, on the 36th day of the nationwide uprising and three weeks after the brutal massacre of worshipers in Zahedan, thousands of Baluchis staged a protest after Friday prayers in front of the Makki Mosque in Zahedan.
People chanted anti-regime slogans such as “Allah Akbar, Death to Khamenei,” “Death to the Dictator,” “Death to Khamenei, Unite! Unite”, “Death to Basiji,” “I will kill whoever killed my brother,” “Baluchi will die and will not be humiliated” and “I will sacrifice my life from Zahedan to Tehran for Iran.”
The large-scale demonstrations continued, especially in Shir Abad, Kowthar, Bazaar Moshtarak, and Amir-al-Momenin districts. The suppressive forces were stationed on the rooftops, flew helicopters, and targeted people with live ammunition to confront the protesters.
On September 30, after Friday prayers, the people of Zahedan demonstrated in the streets to protest the harassment of a female student by the State Security Force commander of the city of Chahbahar. The suppressive forces opened fire on the people, and more than 100 people were killed in the streets around the Mosque. Many of the victims were children and students.

On Day 36 of #IranProtests, the people of Zahedan commemorated the innocent Baluch martyrs of the nationwide uprising by chants of “Death to Khamenei” and “my life for #Iran.” The regime’s crimes have fueled the public’s rage, burning the roots of the ruling mullahs forever. pic.twitter.com/Jdk450YeqJ
