Iranian regime’s institutions warn on consequences of international sanctions

NCRI- Iranian regime’s institutions and decision-making bodies that assess the effects of international sanctions warn that looming serious economic crisis will be such that any limited social incident could trigger a security crisis and popular uprising.

An internal analysis published and distributed among the ranks of  Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC)  warns that following the presidential election scheduled for June 14, 2013, the regime will face  security crisis, a clear reference  to looming popular uprising.

 

The internal bulletin of political section of IRGC, writes: “Analysis published in foreign websites, analysts predict that in 2013 uprising before and after the 11th presidential election is the most important and most likely crisis that the Islamic republic will face.”

Amir Mohebian, an Iranian regime’s strategist and columnist said  in an interview with state-run Fars news agency on Dec. 21, 2012: “The current situation of the society that is not a good at all, The situation is such that people’s hope for a better future has diminished. In other words,  people have lost hope for the future and have lost their mental… The mental chaos is very dangerous and one cannot live with this situation for a long time. People want someone whom they can trust to bring them stability. At the moment, people are seeking peace of mind in the economy and daily life.”
