NCRI – Three Revolutionary Guards were reported to have been killed by a Kurdish group, according to a state news agency reporting on Wednesday.
They were killed in a clash near Salmas in Western Azerbaijan Province, home to a large Kurdish population.
Iranian Kurdistan Province and Kurdish populated areas in western Iran has been the scene of unrests and mass protests against the mullahs’ rule in recent months. Clashes were also reported in Piranshahr last week.
