Iranian Judiciary Defended Execution and Detention of Students, Reporters and Labor Activists

NCRI – In a news conference on Wednesday, Alireza Jamshidi, the spokesperson of Iranian regime’s judiciary confirmed that some of Tehran Polytechnic students are still in detention and their families have filed complaints about torture and anguish against these students. The director of Iranian regime’s Prosecution office in Tehran province, Alireza Avaei is in charge of looking into the condition of these students.

The spokesperson of mullah’s regime judiciary also referred to the attack of the regime’s suppressive forces on the gathering of August 9th in front of the residence of the director of Bus driver’s union, Mansoor Osanlou. He said: this gathering was illegal and as a result, 5 or 6 people have been arrested.

Jamishidi also confessed to the arrest of a group of young people in a Park in Karaj charged with holding a concert. He claimed that this was not a regular case and there were certain intentions behind it. He also referred to the execution verdict of two Kurdish Iranian reporters that have caused international opposition and said they are accused of “crimes against the security of the country and fighting the regime”.
