Juveniles hanged in Iran

Juveniles hanged in IranNCRI – According to press reports from Iran, three people have been hanged in Tehran’s notorious Evin prison two of whom were under 18 at the time of their alleged crime.

The two under aged teenagers were identified by their first names, Mehran and Ali, and the third one was named as Alireza.

In the southern port city of Bandar Abbas, a man was hanged yesterday for alleged armed robbery. He was identified as Gholam-Abbas Heidary-Pour by the state-run news agency IRNA.

Execution of under aged individuals and the high number of executions in Iran have been a matter of grave concern for international human rights organizations but the clerical regime has continued with its barbaric punishments in total defiance of international concerns.
