Iran: Cleric warns of danger for Khamenei in upcoming election

NCRI – A senior aide to the Iranian regime’s Supreme Leader warned on Wednesday that in case of people’s “absence” in the upcoming elections the “leader” would be “killed, isolated or vanished,” the state-run news agency Mehr reported.

Mullah Ali Saeedi, the representative of the Supreme Leader in the Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), was speaking in Isfahan to mobilize the regime’s forces to participate in the regime’s upcoming presidential election.

He said that we “must be on the target” and put someone in office who will conform with Velayat-e Faqih (supreme religious rule); not someone who will “pacify the system.”

“The president must be in line with the Supreme Leader,” Saeedi said.
