Iran’s State Media Acknowledges Raisi’s Promises are Empty

In an article on Friday, the state-run ILNA News Agency, acknowledged that all promises made by the regime’s new president Ebrahim Raisi were empty, and he has failed to fulfill them.

“Three months have passed since the inauguration of Raisi’s government, and although he had repeatedly spoken about the people’s livelihood [problems], the facts on the ground show something else,” ILNA wrote. “The problems have become so great that people can no longer tolerate them, and this impatience leads to civil disobedience.”

 

Iran: Social Protests Continued on Friday

On Friday, seasonal workers of Haft Tapeh Sugar Cane Factory continued their strike for the twelfth consecutive day. These workers demand their unpaid wages and a stable contract.

On Friday, Farmers in Hendijan country, Khuzestan province, held a rally to protest the Zohreh river and demanded their right to water irrigation.

Workers of Sungun Varzeqan Copper Complex Continue Their Strike

On Thursday, 2,000 workers at the Sungun Varzeqan copper complex staged a protest in the mine on the third day of their strike from 2 to 3 p.m local time.

They also chanted slogans against the regime authorities who have refused to address workers’ demands.

Iran: Nationwide Teachers’ Protests in 66 cities (28 provinces)

On Thursday, December 2, 2021, teachers in 66 cities (28 provinces) rallied to protest against the deplorable living conditions due to their low salaries, skyrocketing prices, and the regime’s disregard for their legitimate demands.

Referring to the risen freedom-loving teachers and educators across Iran, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), said: With chants of, “Teachers will die but won’t submit,” and “No nation has ever experienced so much injustice,” they echo the cries of a nation who is fed up with the mullahs’ oppression and injustice.  Khamenei, Raisi, and his cabinet of IRGC terrorists and torturers squander the Iranian people’s assets to make bombs, missiles, and drones.
