U.S. Airstrikes Intensify Against Houthis as Operations Continue “Around the Clock”

The United States has intensified its air campaign against Houthi forces in Yemen, launching dozens of strikes across multiple provinces, according to Al Arabiya on April 27. U.S. Central Command confirmed that operations are continuing “around the clock,” aiming to disrupt the Houthis’ military infrastructure and prevent attacks on commercial shipping routes in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

On Saturday, April 26, American warplanes conducted four fresh airstrikes targeting Houthi fortifications at the Maas military camp north of Marib, resulting in heavy explosions. Separate reports indicate that a Houthi commander was likely killed in a U.S. airstrike on a residence north of Sana’a.

In total, 54 airstrikes were launched overnight against Houthi positions across six Yemeni provinces. One of the strikes reportedly targeted a Houthi transport vehicle carrying military supplies in Sirwah, Marib province. Previous strikes had already hit military sites in Madghal and Harib districts, training camps near Sana’a, a weapons depot in Sahar, Saada province, and the Ras Issa oil terminal in Hodeidah.

Founder of Spain’s Vox Party: ‘Window of Opportunity’ Is Now to Topple Iran’s ‘Killing Machine’

During an exclusive interview with Breitbart News on Sunday, Alejo Vidal-Quadras, founder of Spain’s nationalist Vox Party, responded to revelations made public by the Netherlands’ intelligence services on Thursday. According to the Dutch intelligence and security agency, both the attempted assassination of Iranian journalist Siamak Tahmasb in the Netherlands and the 2023 shooting of Vidal-Quadras in Madrid were directed by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Dutch authorities apprehended the suspected assassin before he could kill Tahmasb, a prominent opponent of the Iranian regime, but Vidal-Quadras was less fortunate, surviving a gunshot to the face.

“Behind these two attacks by the same hitman is the Iranian regime, the Islamic Republic of Iran, which hires the services of mafias to eliminate their opponents in Europe or in the United States or wherever,” Vidal-Quadras stated.

A Massive Explosion at an Iranian Port Possibly Linked to Missile Fuel Kills 25, Injures Some 800

MUSCAT, Oman (AP) — A massive explosion and fire rocked a port Saturday in southern Iran purportedly linked to a shipment of a chemical ingredient used to make missile propellant, killing 25 people and injuring around 800 others.

Helicopters and aircraft dumped water from the air on the raging fire through the night into Sunday morning at the Shahid Rajaei port. The explosion occurred just as Iran and the United States met Saturday in Oman for the third round of negotiations over Tehran’s rapidly advancing nuclear program.

Private security firm Ambrey says the port received missile fuel chemical in March. It is part of a shipment of ammonium perchlorate from China by two vessels to Iran, first reported in January by the Financial Times. The chemical used to make solid propellant for rockets was going to be used to replenish Iran’s missile stocks, which had been depleted by its direct attacks on Israel during the war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Yemen: Senior Houthi Commander Killed in U.S. Airstrike Amid Intensified Strikes

alarabiya-logo

U.S. airstrikes targeting Houthi positions in Yemen continued on Friday, resulting in the death of senior Houthi commander Abu Mohsen al-Rassas in Majzar District, north of Marib, according to Al Arabiya sources.

The strikes, part of a broader escalation, involved at least seven air raids on Houthi military sites in Madghal District, additional strikes in Harib District to the south, and multiple raids against Houthi camps near Sanaa, causing dozens of casualties in Mahwit Province.

Four additional strikes hit the Ras Issa oil terminal in Hodeidah, while another targeted weapons storage facilities in Saada’s Sahar District, resulting in civilian casualties, including the death of a woman and injuries to another person.

The U.S. military’s Central Command has provided limited public details about the campaign, which has involved approximately 750 airstrikes since March 15. The operation, significantly expanded under President Donald Trump’s administration compared to previous efforts, aims to force the Houthis to halt their attacks on commercial shipping in the Red Sea.

Political Prisoners in Iran Denied Critical Medical Care

Iran-Human-Rights-Monitor-monthly-report

Iran’s political prisoners are enduring increasingly critical and life-threatening conditions. Among the most harrowing examples are Kamran Rezaei-Far and Maryam Akbari Monfared, whose cases reflect both the systemic neglect and intentional cruelty inflicted on dissidents by the Iranian regime. Denied urgent medical care and subjected to fabricated charges, these prisoners face daily risks to their health and lives in a justice system weaponized against political opposition.

Sixty-year-old Kamran Rezaei-Far’s life is hanging by a thread in Evin Prison, where authorities are actively obstructing his access to necessary medical treatment. Arrested in September 2023 and sentenced to five years on charges of affiliation with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), Rezaei-Far has faced a rapid deterioration in his health.

Inflation Crisis in Iran: Workers’ Wages Crushed Under Soaring Food Prices

Soaring Food Inflation in Iran Exacerbates Economic Hardships

Inflation in Iran, particularly in the food sector, has reached unprecedented levels this April, setting new records and deepening the economic hardship for workers and low-income families. Basic goods have become significantly more expensive compared to the previous year, pushing essential food items off the tables of millions.

In these conditions, the four to five million tomans wage increase approved by the Supreme Labor Council—and promoted by the government as a major achievement—proved ineffective within the very first month of the new year. Workers continue to face poverty, deprivation, and empty dinner tables.

Iran’s Dangerous Game: Nuclear Threats and Proxy Wars You Need to Know About

iran-nuclear-site-in-fordo

While the world keeps a close eye on Iran’s nuclear ambitions, there’s another major danger that doesn’t always make the headlines—Iran’s growing web of proxy forces. These are armed groups that Iran supports in other countries, using them to spread chaos without directly getting its own hands dirty.

Iran’s regime, run by hardline mullahs, has a long history of using these groups to gain power in the Middle East. It’s a sneaky strategy that helps them avoid international backlash while still causing real damage.

Proxy forces are like Iran’s off-the-books army. The regime trains them, gives them weapons, and tells them where to strike. Three of the most dangerous are:
