Reports on Tuesday indicated that protesters in Tehran, Isfahan, Mashhad, Shiraz, Yazd, Sanandaj, Javanrud, Kermanshah, Marivan, Ravansar, and many other cities continued their strikes and closed their shops in solidarity with the ongoing revolution against the mullahs. Students at various universities of Tehran and Babol also boycotted their classes in solidarity with the nationwide uprising.

At the same time, students held strikes and protest rallies in several cities. Videos and images from Tehran, Babol, Qazvin, Tabriz, and Sanandaj showed empty classes at universities as students refused to attend academies. Meanwhile, in several locations, students held protest rallies, including Kurdistan University in Sanandaj, Noshiravani University in Babol, and Allameh Tabataba’i University in Tehran.

Alireza Zakani, Tehran’s mayor, visited Sharif University on Tuesday, one day ahead of Iran’s Student Day. His presence at the campus was met with fierce protests by students, who held a demonstration and chanted anti-regime slogans including, “Death to the dictator!” and “Death to Khamenei!”

Monday was marked with nightly protest rallies in several cities, including Tehran, Zanjan, Mashhad, Isfahan, Hamedan, and Ilam. Protesters blocked streets with fire and chanted slogans against the regime and its supreme leader. “This is the year Khamenei will be overthrown,” the protesters chanted.

Nighttime protests have begun in various cities again tonight.

  • Tehran, Imamzadeh Hassan district – Protesters chanted: “Death to the dictator!”, “Death to the Basij!”
  • Tehran, Ekbatan district – Protesters continued the nationwide protests against the regime on the 82nd night of the uprising.
  • Tehran, Punak district – Protesters went out in the streets chanting against the regime.
  • Tehran – Narmak district – Protesters chanted: “Freedom! Freedom! Freedom!”
  • Tehran, Vanak district – Protesters chanted: “This is the year Seyed Ali (Khamenei) is overthrown!”
  • Karaj, west of Tehran – Mo’azen Blvd, Protesters chanted: “Death to the dictator!”
  • Karaj, west of Tehran – Golshahr district – Protesters chanted: “This is the year Seyed Ali (Khamenei) is overthrown!”
  • Babolsar, northern Iran – Locals torched a poster of regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini.
  • Isfahan, central Iran – Locals set ablaze a pro-regime monument on the 82nd night of the uprising.

Iran Uprising Escalates as People Launch Three-day Campaign of Intensified Protests

Iran’s nationwide uprising is marking its 81st day as people across the country are launching a three-day campaign of intense anti-regime protests on Monday with merchants and store owners in dozens of cities going on strike. This new initiative is commemorating the nation’s Student Day on December 7.

Locals in Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, Tabriz, Rasht, Sanandaj, Kermanshah, Baneh, Bukan, and dozens of other cities are on strike and closing their shops in solidarity with the ongoing revolution against the mullahs.

Stop Executions in Iran – A Woman Was Hanged in Isfahan

The clerical regime hanged another woman in Isfahan. Mowloud Mollazadeh was hanged in Dastgerd Prison of Isfahan at dawn on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

Mowloud Mollazadeh had been detained since 2017 for murdering her father-in-law. She was transferred from Dowlatabad Prison to Dastgerd on Wednesday at noon to implement her death verdict. She was detained in solitary confinement until Saturday morning when her sentence was carried out.

On Monday, December 5, 2022, merchants and store owners launched a three-day strike on the eve of National Student Day on December 7. According to reports tallied by activists, merchants are on strike in more than 77 cities across Iran.

Observers believe the strike is a major blow to the regime’s vulnerable economy regarding the country’s lack of industrial infrastructure and a broker system. Furthermore, the bazaar was the mullahs’ main base for decades. Now, they witness thousands of their “public base” have risen against religious fascism.

Neda Bayat’s Enforced Disappearance and Secret Murder

Neda Bayat, a young woman in Zanjan, decided to climb onto the car top of a street-patrol service vehicle during protests in her city on October 26, 2022. In this attempt, security officers violently dragged her off from the top of the car and arrested her.

Nobody ever found out where the Iranian authorities had taken Neda, not even her family. Following Neda Bayat’s disappearance, people in her city along with her family tried hard to uncover the truth about her detention.
