CENTCOM Forces Strike Iranian Aligned Target in Syria in Response to Attack on U.S. Personnel

TAMPA, Fla. – Today, Nov. 26, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted a strike against an Iranian-aligned militia weapons storage facility in Syria. The strike is in response to an Iranian-aligned attack against U.S. forces in Syria yesterday.

CENTCOM conducted this strike against the Iranian-backed group’s weapons storage facility to degrade their ability to plan and launch future attacks on U.S. and Coalition forces who are in the region to conduct D-ISIS operations.

“As previously stated, we will not tolerate any attacks on our personnel and coalition partners. We are committed to taking all necessary actions to ensure their protection,” said Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla, CENTCOM commander.

The Iranian People Are the Best Allies to Counter the Iran Threat

townhall-logo

In a meeting at the White House to discuss the upcoming transition, President Joe Biden acknowledged to President-elect Donald Trump that Iran is the most pressing foreign threat to the United States, its allies, and their collective interests. That threat has been underscored over the past year by the worsening conflict between Israel and Iran’s militant proxies in the surrounding region, which has twice given way to direct exchanges of fire between the two countries. And just this past week, the meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors called further attention to the fact that concerns over Iran’s possible breakout to nuclear weapons capability are as salient as ever.

Maryam Rajavi’s Message to a Conference at the UK Parliament

The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women reminds everyone—especially women—to unite their will in this struggle. No society can progress without ending violence, oppression, and exploitation against women. The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women is a day to expose the misogynist dictatorship ruling Iran—a regime that has executed or tortured tens of thousands of PMOI women and female freedom fighters.

In the 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Iran, the vast majority of female prisoners from the PMOI were executed. In the 2022 protests, Iranian women showed their leadership role. During those protests, the regime arrested 30,000 people, including many young girls and boys. The United Nations Fact-Finding Mission stated that the suppression of peaceful protests and widespread discrimination against women and girls have led to serious human rights violations by the Iranian regime. Many of these violations are considered crimes against humanity.

The Iranian Regime’s Fear of The “Revolution of The Hungry Masses”

iran kurdistan uprising

On November 26, the state-run Jomhouri Eslami newspaper published an article titled “Fear the Revolution of the Hungry Masses,” warning the regime’s leaders: “Every day, the economic crisis deepens; the poor grow poorer, the rich richer, and the unprecedented swamp of elitism engulfing our society becomes even more pervasive.” The article further highlighted that the new elite class “live in palaces more extravagant than those of the deposed Shah and the royal family” and added, “What is distressing and fraught with consequences is that these lavish lifestyles are paraded in front of the impoverished, who struggle daily just to make ends meet.”

The article concludes with a warning: “The smallest consequence of a society riddled with discrimination and class divides is widespread public dissatisfaction. This dissatisfaction will lead to suppressed anger building in the hearts of the impoverished. One day, this anger will erupt like a volcano, mobilizing an army of the deprived and hungry against those responsible for this injustice—a movement that can only be described as a ‘Revolution of the Hungry Masses.’ Are you not afraid of such a revolution?”

European-Iranian Talks: Concessions, Challenges, and the Regime’s Weakness

vieanna-talks-flags-only

On Friday, November 29, Deputy Foreign Ministers from Iran and three European countries—Germany, France, and the United Kingdom—are set to meet in Geneva. Christian Wagner, the German Foreign Ministry spokesperson, announced on Monday, November 25, that the discussions would address concerns such as Iran’s regional activities, its use of proxy forces, and its nuclear program. This meeting signals yet another attempt by European nations to engage with Iran through diplomacy, despite the long-standing ineffectiveness of such efforts. Iran’s participation in the talks seems to be motivated by a desire to secure temporary relief from mounting pressures, particularly as the regime faces economic instability and the threat of widespread protests. However, the regime’s entrenched structural issues in foreign and regional policies make a comprehensive agreement unlikely.

Report: A Call for Action Against Executions in Iran

Iran-Executions-01

In a remarkable show of solidarity, 580 mayors in France have issued a collective call to end executions in Iran. Their statement supports the initiative led by Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), who has consistently championed the abolition of capital punishment, as outlined in her “10-point plan for the future of Iran.” This movement underscores the growing international concern over the alarming increase in executions under the current Iranian administration.

The French mayors expressed profound concern about the sharp rise in executions, which far exceeds the rates of previous years. Among those executed are political dissidents, including Reza Rassaei, who was arrested during the November 2022 uprisings in Shahriar, Tehran Province. Observers note that such executions serve as a tool for the Iranian regime to pursue political objectives, primarily by instilling fear and suppressing potential uprisings. As the mayors aptly stated, “Every execution carried out under this regime is inherently political.”

25% of Iran’s University Professors Have Migrated

Irans Migration Trend Continues to Rise

Hossein Simaei Saraf, the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology of the Iranian regime, has reported the migration of “25 percent of the country’s university professors in recent years,” describing this statistic as “concerning.”

This is not the first time warnings have been issued in Iran about the migration of academics, including professors and students, particularly elite professors and students. Two months ago, Simaei Saraf also stated at a meeting of university presidents that the trend of academic migration from Iran is “on the rise.”

The Minister of Science did not specify the exact time period during which this number of professors migrated from Iran and merely referred to the “recent years.” It is also unclear whether this statistic pertains only to public universities or includes non-governmental higher education institutions as well.

Khamenei’s Deadly Dilemma: A Choice Leading to His Demise

A series of recent developments—from Donald Trump’s rise to power and the IAEA Board of Governors’ resolution against Iran’s nuclear program to consecutive setbacks in Gaza and Lebanon—have placed Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei at a critical crossroads. Which path will he choose, and how will it ultimately lead to his downfall?

In an article titled “Suicide Out of Fear of Death Is Forbidden!”, the state-run Siasat-e Rooz newspaper delves into these challenges, offering an analysis that outlines the worsening isolation of the Iranian regime.

The article highlights several transformative events in Iran’s foreign policy landscape:

  1. Adoption of the IAEA resolution.
  2. A human rights resolution passed by the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly.
  3. European Union sanctions targeting Iran’s shipping and aviation sectors.

Additionally, the paper emphasizes growing threats of intensified economic sanctions and diplomatic isolation. The regime now faces two stark scenarios: embrace isolation or negotiate with the West under pressure.
