World Net Daily published in the U.S., quoted a top Hezbollah official as saying, “All Hezbollah’s policies and activities such as firing missiles into Israel must have the leader of Islamic Republic’s blessings.”

The paper claimed that Deputy leader of Hezbollah, Sheik Naim Qassem in a rare interview in Arabic which was translated into English by the Intelligence Department in Israel’s Center for Special Studies (CSS) said, “All our polices including firing missiles into Israeli territories could not have been done without the consent of the leader of Islamic Republic of Iran. He has to agree to all Hezbollah’s activities in advance.”

Sheik Qassem added, “Even at the time when there was a need to retaliate against Israeli cities in return for that country’s attack on Lebanon, the ‘Supreme Leader'[referring to Khamenei] had to give the go-ahead for that mission.”

According to the Israel’s CSS Khamenei’s title in Arabic language is “Al-Vali Al-Faqih” which means the Supreme leader.

Deputy Hezbollah leader, Sheik Qassem in his last month interviews with the Arabic television channel, Al-Kosar said, “Ayatollah Khamenei’s permission is required in all Hezbollah’s operations.”

According to Sheik Qassem, Hezbollah is not allowed to carry out even an independent routine mission unless Khamenei’s office is fully aware of the plan in particular when it is going to be a suicide mission.

“We ask the Ayatollah and then wait to receive his reply. Upon receiving his decree then we implement the plan. No one in our movement is allowed to take his own life without ‘Al-Vali Al-Faqih’ blessings,” said Sheik Qassem.
