On the third anniversary of the nationwide 2022 uprising, which shook the foundations of the anti-human clerical regime, free Iranians and supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held various demonstrations and actions in the capitals and major cities of European countries, the United States, Canada, and Australia. They honored the martyrs of the uprising and expressed their support for the Iranian people’s resistance, the struggle of the youth, and the Resistance Units to overthrow the clerical regime.

In this series of actions, held from September 12 to September 17, 2025, demonstrators chanted slogans such as “Neither Shah, nor Mullahs – Yes to a Democratic Republic,” “Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Leader,” “Woman, Resistance, Freedom,” and “Death to Khamenei, Hail to Rajavi.” They expressed their support for the Ten-Point Plan of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, for the future of Iran, and her “Third Option.” They stressed: Neither foreign war nor appeasement—regime change must be brought about by the people and their organized resistance.

The crowds, chanting “Woman, Resistance, Freedom,” saluted the pioneering women in the fight against religious fascism over the past 45 years and emphasized their readiness to confront this misogynistic regime.

These demonstrations and actions were held in Berlin, Cologne, Rostock, Bremen, Göttingen, Münster, Heidelberg, and Nuremberg (Germany); Paris; London; Rome; New York; Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Winnipeg (Canada); Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö (Sweden); Oslo; The Hague; Amsterdam; Geneva, Basel, and Winterthur (Switzerland); Vienna; Sydney and Melbourne; Copenhagen and Aarhus (Denmark). In some of these actions, Iranians protested in front of parliaments, prime ministries, foreign ministries, or other governmental institutions. Prior to these events, on September 6, 2025, tens of thousands of Iranians held a demonstration in Brussels to honor the memory and path of the martyrs of the 2022 uprising.

Participants in these actions called on the international community to end the policy of appeasement toward the religious dictatorship and to adopt a firm policy toward this regime. They demanded that the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) be placed on the terrorist list, that Khamenei and other regime leaders be brought to justice for 45 years of crimes against humanity and genocide, and that the rights of the Iranian people and Resistance Units to fight against the IRGC, overthrow this regime, and establish a democratic republic be recognized.
