PMOI/MEK-led Resistance Units carried out a surge of fiery anti-regime operations across multiple Iranian cities, marking the 120th week of the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign and acting in direct retaliation for the regime’s escalating executions of political prisoners and protesters from the January 2026 uprising.
The actions included torching a police station, an IRGC Basij base, and numerous regime banners, while rebel youth condemned the “disgraceful and criminal” remnants of the Shah and SAVAK as the flip side of religious fascism, declared that “the days of the executioners and torturers are numbered,” and publicly called for the identification of officials who praised the executions. All operations emphasized continuing the path of the PMOI martyrs, strong support for Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan for a democratic republic, and the outright rejection of both monarchical and theocratic dictatorships.

In ten fiery retaliatory operations responding to the regime’s executioner judiciary and the deputy head of the judicial commission in the reactionary parliament (who on May 12 praised the chief executioner for carrying out death sentences against uprising rebels and prisoners), PMOI/MEK-led rebel youth struck regime targets across the country. These “flaming responses” were explicitly carried out to avenge the executions and signal that “the days of the executioners and torturers are numbered.”
