Iran: Coronavirus Update, Over 28,200 Deaths, April 14, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST

NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF APRIL 14, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) announced this afternoon, April 14, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 28,200 in 273 cities across Iran.

The death in various provinces include: 4,550 in Tehran, 2700 in Qom, 2400 in Khorasan Razavi, 2310 in Gilan, 2030 in Isfahan, 1060 in Alborz, 970 in Golestan, 770 in Kermanshah, 690 in Fars, 460 in Semnan, 260 in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, 230 in Ilam, 150 in Bushehr, and 65 in Hormozgan. This is in addition to cases registered in other provinces.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI, Mujahedin-e Khalq or MEK) announced on Monday that the coronavirus fatalities in Iran have surpassed 27,000. The number of casualties has been increasing, but the regime’s supreme leader in his remarks on April 9 called it a blessing.
The remarks made by the regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei in this regard make it clear that the regime is not only willing to help the Iranian people, in fact it wants to use the coronavirus outbreak as an opportunity to oppress Iranian people and prolong its life.

The number of victims in Tehran province is 4,300, Gilan 2220, Mazandaran 1860, Khuzestan 1120, East Azerbaijan 790, Hamedan 720, Ardabil 577, Fars 570, Central Province 390, North Khorasan 300, Sistan and Baluchestan 300, and Ilam 210.

7 prisoners dead, 100 infected with COVID-19 in Northwestern Iran prison

The spread of COVID-19 in Iran’s prisons has led to the death of seven prisoners and more than 100 infections in a northwestern prison in Iran, a human rights group said today.
In the past month at least seven prisoners died after being infected with COVID-19 at Urmia Central Prison, the Hengaw Human Rights Organization said.
The report said that more than 100 inmates were infected with the virus.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Tuesday, April 14, 2020, marks the 152nd day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
