Western governments have been prone to a misguided approach to Iran for most of its 41-year existence. This is never more evident than when someone highlights the lack of accountability for Iranian human rights abuses. Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 347 Cities Passed 78,800

Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 347 Cities Passed 78,800
Over 78,800 dead of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iran-Iran Coronavirus Death Toll per PMOI MEK sources

  • Iraj Harirchi, Regime’s Deputy Health Minister: Out of a population of 83 million, about 73 million are red. About 25 percent of the country’s deaths are due to Coronavirus. Of course, the main catastrophe occurred in Tehran, and it’s the third-highest in terms of the number of patients and deaths
  • Harirchi: Some from Albania are campaigning against holding the University (entrance exam) and would like to disturb our peace …
  • Governor of Tehran: We have about 4,500 Coronavirus patients hospitalized. 40% of the critically ill patients in the country are in Tehran Province
  • Shiraz University of Medical Sciences: 19 people died in the past 24 hours, the highest record in 24 hours since the beginning of the outbreak
  • Maryam Rajavi: The unprecedented spike in Coronavirus across the country and the regrettable number of victims are entirely the results of criminal policies pursued by Khamenei and Rouhani. The current situation was both predictable and preventable. The Iranian Resistance and many domestic and foreign experts had warned about it repeatedly. This is a manifest case of crime against humanity. Overcoming Coronavirus, as is the case with overcoming poverty, high prices and unemployment, as well as containing the destructive impact of flood and earthquake in contingent upon overthrowing the clerical regime and establishing people’s sovereignty, in which case all of our nation’s resources will be utilized for advancing and improving people’s lives.

Maryam Rajavi, Monika Kryemadhi, leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration party and her accompanying delegation visit the museum of 120 Years of the Iranian people’s Struggle for Freedom in Ashraf 3, home to 3000 members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

In 2016, Albania took a courageous step to host the members of the Iranian opposition movement the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), who were under constant rocket attacks in Camp Liberty in Iraq. This brave initiative marked the beginning of a lasting friendship between the Albanian people and the Iranian Resistance.

But it also triggered a new wave of attacks by the Iranian regime, aimed as always to either physically eliminate the members of the MEK in Albania or to tarnish their reputation among the Albanian people.
