NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF June 15, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) announced this afternoon, June 15, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 52,100 in 332 cities across Iran. 4255 in Khuzestan, 3690 in Qom, 3270 in Khorasan Razavi, 2825 in Mazandaran, 1342 in Kermanshah, 1095 in Kurdestan, 691 in Ardabil, 486 in Bushehr, 395 in Hormozagan. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.

A large group of investors who have placed their savings in the Iranian regime’s state-run credit firms rallied outside the Central Bank in Tehran on Sunday, June 14, demanding their money returned. These investors were protesting the losses they suffered as a result of a special exchange rate the Central Bank has devised for businesses.

“The Iranian regime is on the brink of being overthrown” : MEK Resistance Units

The Iranian Resistance Units, a network of activists of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) across Iran, continued their activities on Sunday. The MEK Resistance Units offer a breakthrough and are a beacon of the uprising for freedom. They represent the rebellious and defiant generation, and they played a key role in the nationwide uprisings of December 2017 and November 2019. They took to graffiti in public places writing slogans such as “Regime’s mismanagement, inaction and secrecy was the main cause of the coronavirus outbreak in Iran, down with the mullahs’ regime,” “Down with the principle of the Supreme Leader’s rule,” “Those who resist will bring victory,” “Down with the mullahs’ regime, Viva freedom, Viva Rajavi,” and “The world must know, our choice is Maryam Rajavi.”
They wrote:

According to the news made public on Saturday, June 13, 2020, several dangerous prisoners recruited by the Ministry of Intelligence and prison authorities have threatened to assault and murder the political prisoner.

Iran: Elite Student Contracted COVID 19 in Evin Prison

Iranian elite student, Ali Younesi, who was arrested in April, has contracted COVID-19, according to his brother.
Ali Younesi is an award-winning student of physics from Iran’s prestigious Sharif Industrial University.
Maryam Rajavi, president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, called this “a flagrant crime against humanity.”
She urged the UN to intervene to save the lives of Ali Younesi & Amir Hossein Moradi & secure their release
The clerical regime is deliberately letting these prisoners contract COVID-19
International lawmakers, personalities and NGOs have called on the clerical regime to release these students.

  •  The Health Ministry put the death toll at 108 in the past 24 hours, the highest in the last two months.
  • According to the daily statistics of the Health Ministry, 16% of the victims are in Hormozgan, far worse than alarming
  •  The Mayor of Behbahan declared a red state of alert, saying: “The order to turn off the lights in parks and to block the road to the cemetery was also issued immediately.”
  •  In Bushehr, the death toll in the past three weeks is more than the first three months of the Coronavirus outbreak, and the average number of patients hospitalized is six times that of last month.
  •  Regime’s official news agency in Kurdistan: We must expect a week full of deaths.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced on Sunday, June 14, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 332 cities in Iran has increased to 51,800. The death toll in Khuzestan is 4,230, Isfahan 2,665, Sistan and Baluchestan 1,940, Lorestan 1,765, East Azerbaijan 1,725, West Azerbaijan 1,440, Kermanshah 1,310, Kurdistan 1,078, Kerman 625, and in Hormozgan 370.

Eshagh Jahangiri, the Iranian regime’s vice president, acknowledged that there has been a sharp drop in the regime’s oil revenues due to United States sanctionswith the revenue at around $8 billion last year 

Regretting the past, when due to the appeasement policy, the regime was able to have huge oil revenues for funding its illicit activities, Jahangiri said on Saturday: “We had $100 billion oil revenues. But our total oil revenue in last year was around $8 billion. This decrease of revenue has had an impact on all parts, including the government’s budget.”  

The regime for years used Iran’s huge oil and gas revenues for funding its terrorist proxy groups abroad and oppressive forces inside Iran, or the money simply vanished in the regime’s blackhole of institutionalized corruption and embezzlement.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Monday, June 15, 2020, marks the 213th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
