Iran – Rouhani: Our nuclear program will be permanent

NCRI – In state organized demonstrations in Tehran on the occasion of the anniversary of the 1979 revolution, Hassan Rouhani, the mullahs president, reiterated on continuing the programs on what he calls “peaceful nuclear technology.”

State-run ISNA news agency quoted Rouhani as saying: “I unambiguously declare that the motion of the Iranian nation to the summit of science, progress and technology, including a peaceful nuclear technology, is unceasing.”

The Iranian regime signed an accord with P5+1 in Geneva on 24 November 2013 to reign in its nuclear program, but it has left the basic infrastructure of its bomb-making program untouched, including enrichment of uranium, the heavy-water reactor of Arak, the underground site of Fordow, and the military complex of Parchin.

In his February 11 speech, Rouhani formulated his goal in the nuclear negotiations: “In these negotiations, we wanted to declare to the world the Fatwa of our supreme leader in a louder voice and to take away the unreal pretexts and fabrications from our foes.”

He also made apparent in his speech that the foreign policy of the regime is under the guidance of Supreme Leader Khamenei and said, “we should be united and hand in hand and move under one flag which is that of the supreme leader.”
