Lieutenant General Ali Gheidan, commander of Iraqi infantry army, personally orders shooting of Ashraf residents

Number of dead reaches 11

Lieutenant General Ali Gheidan, commander of Iraqi infantry army, who is directly commanding the criminal attack of forces under al-Maliki’s command, at 7:30 local time ordered shooting at unarmed and defenseless women and men gathered in Laleh Square of Ashraf.

 

Massoud Hajiloo was killed in this criminal attack and a number of  women members of the PMOI were wounded. The number of killed so far reaches 11. The other ten killed are, Mohammad-Reza Yazdan-Doust, Fereydoun Eini, Jaafar Bareji, Saeed Chavoushi, Zahir Zakeri, Naser Sepah-Pour, Qasem Etemadi, Akbar Madad-Zadeh, Mohammad Qayoumi and Hanif Kafai.

Some of those killed were shot directly and some others were ran over by Humvee armored vehicles.
