NCRI – On the eve of the Iranian regime’s elections show, a confidential document on overdue payments of businesses, municipalities and their affiliated organizations has been released, showing the regime’s fear of popular demonstrations and protests on Election Day.

The document, issued by the governor of Lanjan on February 19, 2017, is listed below:

Statement by the Governor of Lanjan, February 19, 2017:

Below is paragraph 19 of the decisions made by Lanjan Security Council on February 14, 2017, submitted for the purpose of informing, taking necessary actions, and announcing the results to the Governor.”

Paragraph19 – it was ordained that businesses and firms, municipalities and affiliated organizations take necessary measures to make overdue and end-of-year payments of their personnel, in order to avoid any labor discontent on the eve of the elections, thus preventing anti-revolutionary and dissident groups from taking advantage of labor-related issues.
