Suspected US Strikes Overnight in Yemen Kill at Least 3 People, Houthi Rebels Say

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Suspected U.S. airstrikes in Yemen overnight into Thursday killed at least three people, while the death toll in an earlier attack rose to 13 dead, the Iran-backed Houthi rebels said. The rebels meanwhile aired footage they said showed the debris left after shooting down yet another American MQ-9 Reaper drone.

The 13 killed in strikes Tuesday night around Hodeida’s al-Hawak district made it one of the deadliest single incidents in the ongoing American campaign, the rebels said. Another 15 people were wounded. The Houthis described the majority of those killed as women and children, without providing a breakdown.

The area is home to the city’s airport, which the rebels have used in the past to target shipping in the Red Sea.

Ahead of Trump Admin-Iran Talks, New Report Says Iran Nuclear Threat Rises to ‘Extreme Danger’

FoxNews-logo

A leading U.S. research institute devoted to monitoring Iran’s illicit nuclear weapons program published an alarming report ahead of this weekend’s U.S.-Iran talks, declaring Tehran’s atomic weapons system has reached an extremely dangerous stage.

The Washington, D.C.-based Institute for Science and International Security titled its shocking new report, “The Iran Threat Geiger Counter: Extreme Danger Grows.”

According to the study, “Since February 2024, the date of its last report, the threat posed by Iran’s nuclear program has worsened significantly. Major negative factors include Iran’s greater nuclear weapon capabilities, its shorter time frames to build nuclear weapons, and the growing normalization of internal Iranian discussions favoring building nuclear weapons.

On April 8, 2025, honoring the anniversary of the April 8, 2011, attack against Camp Ashraf, PMOI Resistance Units spread messages and held activities across Iran to mark the memories of 36 PMOI martyrs who laid down their lives on that day to defend the bastion of Iran’s struggle for freedom. The messages inscribed on placards hanging from walls and bridges across Iran, along with slogans written on walls, hoisted the banner of “Resistance at any cost” to overthrow the tyrannical mullahs’ regime and liberate Iran, 14 years after the attack:

  • The day to renew the pact with the heroic PMOI martyrs
  • A great and unforgettable day

Hostage Diplomacy and Media Disinformation: The Iran-France Connection

In recent weeks, a report published by the French newspaper Le Canard Enchaîné has sparked controversy by accusing the Iranian democratic opposition, National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), of financial misconduct. The report has drawn strong reactions, particularly among the Iranian diaspora and supporters of the Iranian opposition, who argue that such allegations serve the interests of Tehran’s ruling regime. Iranian state-controlled media quickly amplified these reports, a move that demonstrates the alignment of such narratives with Tehran’s broader disinformation strategy. The Iranian government has long sought to delegitimize the NCRI and MEK (the principal force within the opposition), frequently accusing them of foreign allegiances and financial irregularities. Over the years, such allegations have varied, ranging from claims of receiving support from the Soviet Union, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the United States, each accusation appearing to align with Iran’s shifting geopolitical interests, writes Masoud Mohammadi, political and international relations specialist, International Freedom of Speech Alliance (IFSA).

Iran Dropping Its Medieval Ways Could Bring Mideast Peace

newsmax-logo

On March 2, 2025, in a speech marking the beginning of Ramadan, Iran Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei publicly declared that negotiations with the United States were “neither wise, nor rational, nor honorable.”

Yet, just two weeks later, Khamenei approved indirect talks and has since accepted direct negotiations in Muscat.

The only explanation for this sharp reversal is the regime’s fear, fueled by external pressure from the Trump administration, the imminent threat of a nationwide uprising in the country.

Iran’s Regime Shifts Hezbollah Arms Transfers to Sea Routes via Beirut

The Iranian regime has reportedly altered its weapons supply strategy to Hezbollah, opting for maritime routes instead of relying on land or air channels through Syria. This shift follows significant changes in the region, particularly the decline of the Assad regime’s influence in Syria, which previously served as a key transit point for Iranian arms shipments.

According to intelligence assessments, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force has established a direct sea corridor to Lebanon. The new route is designed to bypass Syria, which has become increasingly difficult to use due to growing regional scrutiny and logistical challenges. Weapons are now being sent via the port of Beirut, a hub where Hezbollah is believed to maintain considerable influence.

The operation is reportedly coordinated by two IRGC units: Unit 190 and Unit 700. These units are tasked with the transfer and logistical management of the weapons shipments. Commanders from both units are said to be directly overseeing the new maritime supply line to ensure efficiency and security.

IAEA Report: Iran’s Uranium Mining Suggests Much Larger Reserves

The Iranian regime has installed dozens of advanced centrifuges to accelerate uranium enrichment, the United Nations' atomic watchdog disclosed Monday, a revelation representing just the latest in a series of provocative breaches of the 2015 nuclear deal by the mullahs' regime.

According to the latest data from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Iranian regime is expanding its uranium production and has declared that its reserves of this metal are much larger than previously estimated.

The new statistics, published on Tuesday, April 8, in the “Red Book”—the IAEA’s biennial report on the uranium industry—may raise concerns about the direction of the regime’s nuclear program.

The report states that since 2022, the Iranian regime has been drilling at least 12 new uranium mines, although these resources are not considered economically viable and are far below the amount required to fuel a nuclear reactor.
