‘Full Scale of Iran Threat to UK Revealed in New Report’
Iran is still trying to assassinate dissidents on British soil, a parliamentary report based on classified intelligence is set to warn. A study by Parliament’s Intelligence and Security Committee will also show the damage caused by Tehran through cyber attacks aimed at UK companies. The Telegraph understands the findings will conclude that Iran remains one of the biggest state-based threats to the UK, in the same bracket as China and Russia.
Continued attempts by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which has been crippled by Israeli assassinations in recent months, to meddle with the UK will also be laid bare. The report is more than 100 pages long and the result of two years of work. It has been compiled with interviews with Iranian experts at British intelligence services and access to classified documents.
Neighbours Spying on Each Other, Execution Sprees & ‘Telecom Cages’
TYRANNICAL leaders in Iran have demanded citizens act as undercover informants to turn in anyone who dares oppose the regime, insiders say.
Panicked mullahs have also ordered “telecom cages” be installed around prisons as the regime wages war against its own people.
Sources inside Iran told The Sun how a direct alert has been issued to the public, urging them to report any activity linked to resistance groups of the People’s Mojahedin Organisation of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
Insiders noted it points to the regime’s growing perceived threat posed by the PMOI’s grassroots operations. The PMOI has long fought for a secular, democratic Iran, and is understood to be gaining traction amid frustration with economic hardship, political repression, and international isolation.

Iran Regime Exploits Post-Conflict Tensions to Torment Political Prisoners
As the Iranian regime navigates the aftermath of a recent ceasefire, a disturbing pattern of intensified repression is emerging, targeting political opponents with renewed brutality. A stark warning issued by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) on July 4, 2025, calls for immediate international action to save the lives of four political prisoners currently enduring torture. This specific alert is chillingly corroborated by a United Nations report released the same day, which confirms a widespread, systemic crackdown aimed at crushing all forms of dissent under the pretext of national security.
The NCRI’s urgent statement names Arghavan Fallahi, Bijan Kazemi, Mohammad Akbari Monfared, and Amirhossein Akbari Monfared as the latest victims of the regime’s terror apparatus. They are being subjected to prolonged interrogation and torture in an attempt by the Judiciary’s Intelligence Protection Unit to extract fabricated confessions. The regime aims to falsely link them to the recent deaths of notorious executioner judges Moghiseh and Razini, two of the judiciary’s most infamous figures responsible for countless death sentences.
Qarchak Prison: Where Silence Covers the Cries of Iran’s Forgotten Women
Nestled in the barren outskirts of Varamin, southeast of Tehran, Qarchak Prison has become a dark emblem of institutionalized repression in Iran. Ostensibly a correctional facility for women, it has long deviated from any notion of rehabilitation. Instead, it operates as a tool of vengeance, silencing dissent and punishing vulnerable women who have already suffered from a deeply unjust system. Behind the cracked concrete walls of Qarchak, the suffering of inmates is compounded daily by inhumane conditions and deliberate neglect. Physical beatings, verbal abuse, sexual harassment, and psychological torment are not rare occurrences—they are part of the fabric of this prison’s operation. Many prisoners are forced into isolation or denied contact with family members, driving them into despair and severe mental health decline.
MEK Supporters Rally in Gothenburg to Back NCRI and Maryam Rajavi’s Third Option for Democratic Change
Gothenburg, Sweden – July 5, 2025 – Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered in Gothenburg to reaffirm their steadfast support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), endorsing it as the sole democratic and viable alternative to Iran’s ruling theocracy.
The rally spotlighted Maryam Rajavi’s Third Option, a vision that rejects both military intervention and appeasement, advocating instead for a democratic change led by the Iranian people and their organized resistance movement.
Photo Exhibition in Sydney Backs Iranian Resistance, Condemns Regime Abuses
Sydney, Australia – July 4, 2025: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held an exhibition in front of the Parliament in Sydney to protest the Iranian regime and express support for a democratic alternative. Demonstrators endorsed the “Third Option” proposed by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), which advocates for democratic change led by the Iranian people and their organized resistance—rejecting both military intervention and appeasement.

Participants echoed Mrs. Rajavi’s message that the only viable solution for Iran is regime change by the people themselves, not through foreign military action or conciliatory diplomacy.
Iranian Authorities Transfer Detained French Couple to Undisclosed Location
According to the families of the two French citizens detained in Iran, regime authorities transferred Cécile Kohler and Jacques Paris—who had survived explosions during the Israeli airstrikes on Evin Prison on June 24—to undisclosed locations.
The French couple were arrested in April 2022 during a tourist visit to Iran and have remained in detention since. According to their families, only one consular visit has taken place since the Israeli airstrike on Evin Prison—on July 2—during which their survival was confirmed.
The French nationals were held in Ward 209 of Evin Prison, which is operated by Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence. This ward operates outside the official judicial oversight, and Human Rights Watch has described it as a “prison within a prison,” where detainees are subjected to prolonged solitary confinement, denial of access to legal counsel, and harsh interrogations—a situation amounting to torture.
Post-War Crackdown: Iranian Regime Intensifies Repression Under Guise of Security
Following the Iran-Israel ceasefire, the Iranian regime escalates arrests, surveillance, and censorship, using wartime conditions to justify sweeping crackdowns on civil liberties.
Three weeks after the end of the Iran-Israel war, the Iranian regime has significantly expanded its internal security measures. According to a spokesperson for FARAJA, the regime’s Police Command, patrols and police presence have increased across cities under the pretext of “ensuring maximum security.” In practice, however, this new wave of crackdowns has led to hundreds of arrests across various provinces, often on vague charges of “collaboration with Israel.”
The regime’s parliament wasted no time in passing a bill titled “Intensification of Punishment for Espionage and Cooperation with Israel and Hostile States.” Civil and political activists argue that this resolution not only curtails individual freedoms but also provides the regime with a legal framework to target dissent and suppress critics.
