
At least 56 prisoners, including one woman, executed in the past five days; one prisoner brutally hanged in public.
With utmost savagery and barbarism, and in fear of social uprisings, Iran’s regime continued the unprecedented wave of prisoner massacres in the first days of Persian month of Azar (Since November 22). By noon November 26, reports have confirmed the execution of 56 prisoners in the first five days of Azar. The actual number of executions during this period is higher, and the names of other victims will be announced after verification. Additionally, supplementary reports indicate that the number of prisoners executed in the month of Aban (October 23 – November 21) has reached 311.
On Sunday, November 23, at least 19 prisoners were hanged, including: Jafar Shokri in Birjand, Arsalan Behbahani in Sabzevar, Ashkan Bahrami and Hamid Amini (25) in Kashan, Ayoub Zeydi in Tabriz, Mousa Golpayegani in Semnan, Mohammad Nazemi (an Arab compatriot) and Rahman Moloudi (36) in Ahvaz, Mohammad-Ali Soltanabadi and a prisoner named Maleki in Qom, Amir Nosrat Pirian in Bam, one prisoner in Maragheh, Mohammad-Hossein Akbari in Dezful, Mirza Janali and two other prisoners in Arak, Mehran Saqai in Dorud, and Shahmorad Dehghani and another prisoner in Shiraz.
On Saturday, November 22, 13 prisoners were executed by the clerical regime’s criminals: Ghasem Sarlak in Aligudarz, Peyman Alizadeh in Bandar Abbas, Sasan Misaghi in Yasuj, Mohammad Tajik in Taybad, and Amir Moradi in Sari. The names of the other victims were mentioned in a previous statement.
On Tuesday, November 25, nine prisoners were hanged: Mehdi Fathipour (24) and Amin Chaharbashi in Gorgan, Karam Yousefian and Heshmat Shiravand in Khorramabad, three prisoners in Yazd, Gholam-Ali Eftekhari in Neyshabur, and one prisoner who was brutally hanged in public in Bastam, Semnan province.
On Wednesday, November 26, a large number of prisoners were executed. One of the victims was a female prisoner named Mahin Rahimi, who was hanged in Mashhad prison. The 14 other victims identified so far include: Seyed Javad Tabatabai in Mashhad, Ezzatollah Nashadi and another prisoner in Bojnurd, Hormoz Nejati in Esfarayen, Sadegh Rafiei (30) in Isfahan, Hamid Yousefzehi (38), a Baluchi compatriot, and five other prisoners in Shiraz, and Davood Najafi, Mohammad-Hossein Khazaei, and another prisoner in Ghezel Hesar.
