Activists displayed placards in public spaces declaring solidarity with those facing execution and warning that bloodshed will not go unpunished. They emphasized their core principle: “Neither Shah nor Mullah,” calling instead for a democratic republic. The actions honored the memory of the PMOI’s founders, executed 54 years earlier, and drew inspiration from their unwavering commitment to freedom.
