Charges: Attack and shooting at the governor’s office, security centers, and security agents
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi: The Iranian people will neither forgive nor forget the leaders of this regime and the officials responsible for the executions, and the day is not far off when they will face justice in a free Iran.
- Renewed call on the UN Security Council for the decisive condemnation of torture and execution in Iran and effective action to stop them.
On the morning of Monday, May 25, the executioners of the mullahs’ regime executed another rebellious youths, Abbas Akbari Faizabadi, a brave son of the people of Nain who participated in the January uprising. He was executed on charges of ‘Moharebeh (waging war against God), deliberate destruction of public property with the intent to confront the system and disrupt order and security, assembly and collusion to commit crimes against the internal security of the country,’ and ‘attacking the county governor’s office and security centers.’
According to the regime’s judiciary, ‘Abbas Akbari was one of the armed leaders of the riots in Nain County, Isfahan, who played an important role in attacking the county governor’s office and security centers. Using a handgun alongside several other rioters, he attacked the Nain governor’s office, appeared armed in the streets, and fired at security guards.’
Today, the clerical regime took the life of another rebellious protester, Abbas Akbari Feyzabadi, a courageous son of Naein, executed on charges of "Moharebeh" (enmity against God) stemming from the January 2026 uprising.
Salutations to the rebellious protesters who have shaken…— Maryam Rajavi (@Maryam_Rajavi) May 25, 2026
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), sent her greetings to the brave rebels who have risen for freedom and shaken the pillars of religious fascism. She said: The execution of the proud youths of Iran not only fails to save the moribund mullahs’ regime but also redoubles the anger of the Iranian people against the bloodthirsty rulers. The Iranian people will neither forgive nor forget the leaders of this regime, its executioners, and the officials responsible for the executions. The day is not far off when they will face justice in a free Iran.
Emphasizing that the mullahs’ regime considers the silence of the international community as a green light to continue its crimes, Mrs. Rajavi once again called on the UN Security Council to strongly condemn the incessant executions and take effective measures to stop torture and executions in Iran.
