Execution of uprising prisoner Majid Adineh in Karaj Central Prison without any evidence

Iranian Resistance calls for the exclusion of the regime of execution and massacre from the international community and conditioning of all relations on halting torture and executions

The mullahs’ regime, fearing an explosion of public anger and seeking to prevent an uprising, continues to execute prisoners. The number of recorded executions on Wednesday, August 19, reached 12, and on Sunday, August 23, reached six (including one woman).

On August 23, 2026, the regime’s henchmen hanged uprising prisoner Majid Adineh in Karaj Central Prison. The news agency of the regime’s judiciary claimed that Majid Adineh was “one of the agents of the American-Zionist coup and associated with terrorist groups residing in a neighboring territory.” Consequently, the Revolutionary Court in Karaj sentenced him to death and the confiscation of all his property on charges of “operational action in favor of the Zionist regime, the United States, and hostile groups, espionage, and cooperation with the Zionist regime.”

However, one of Majid’s cellmates stated, “He did not belong to any political movement. The weapon and all the equipment confiscated from him belonged to him, but he had never used them, and it was even proven in the regime’s court that he had not used them. Nevertheless, they sentenced him to death. Majid also has a co-defendant in Hall 2 of Karaj Central Prison who has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.”

The criminal mullahs’ regime felt no need to prove its claims or provide any evidence for these heavy accusations. The Iranian Resistance calls for an investigation into this case by the International Fact-Finding Mission.

On August 23, in addition to Majid Adineh, five other prisoners were hanged: Fatemeh Kamal Zare, 30, in Karaj Central Prison; Ardalan Sabzi in Maku Central Prison; Mohammad Ali Kaffashi and Hamed Emami in Semnan Central Prison; and Bahram Keshavarzi in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz.

On Wednesday, August 19, the regime’s henchmen sent 12 prisoners to the gallows: Farshad Safari in Karaj; Ali Afzali, 33, in Sabzevar; Morad Noureh in Dezful; Davoud Siah-Mansouri, 26, in Qezelhesar; a female prisoner named Donya Mohammadi, 20, along with Khodadad Mohammadi and Mohsen Zarouni in Ilam; and five prisoners in Isfahan named Lotfollah Ahmadvand, 38, Abdulbaset Barahouie (Eidozehi), 30, a Baluch compatriot, Omidreza Ghanbarian, Amir Farhadi, and Mohsen Darabi.

On Saturday, August 22, Mohammad Reza Rezaei, 26, was also executed in Khorramabad.

The Iranian Resistance calls for the exclusion of the regime of execution and massacre from the international community and conditioning any trade and relations with the religious fascism ruling Iran on an immediate halt to torture and executions.
