Iran: 60 Defiant Operations Against IRGC, Basij, and Other Suppression Centers in Tehran and 30 Other Cities
A warning against plans to raise fuel prices
On Thursday, August 27, 2026, in response to the clerical regime’s anti-popular plans to raise gasoline prices, the PMOI Resistance Units carried out 60 daring operations in Tehran and 30 other cities, targeting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Basij bases, and other centers of suppression. These cities included Mashhad, Shiraz, Karaj, Yazd, Kermanshah, Arak, Bandar Abbas, Khorramabad, Ilam, Nurabad Mamasani, Damghan, Zahedan, Saravan, Sarbaz, Zabol, Lordegan, Babol, Bam, Aligudarz, Azna, Semirom, Saveh, Khomein, Iranshahr, Borazjan, Borujen, Chabahar, Shadegan, Damavand, and Dezful. A significant portion of the fuel shortage in Iran is due to the excessive consumption by the regime’s repressive forces.
The centers and institutions of suppression targeted in these operations include:
– Targeting and triggering explosions at the IRGC’s Basij bases and centers, including suppression headquarters operating under the name of ‘Student Basij’ in Karaj, Shadegan, Iranshahr, and Dezful.
– Firebombings and explosions at centers of government plunder and suppression, including the predatory institution of the Representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage in Tehran, and a suppression and plunder center operating under the guise of the Municipality in Mashhad.
– Setting fire to the signs of espionage and informant headquarters of the Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS) and the IRGC and setting off explosions at assembly points of security forces in Chabahar, Borujen, and Borazjan.
– Explosions at several centers of suppression operating under the guise of religious seminaries (‘Howza’) in Mashhad and Kermanshah.
Additionally, in dozens of other activities, the loathsome images and symbols of Ruhollah Khomeini, Ali Khamenei, Mojtaba Khamenei, Qasem Soleimani, and other leaders and mercenaries of the regime were set on fire in various cities. During these operations, echoing slogans included ‘Death to Khamenei, Hail to Rajavi,’ ‘Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Leader (Khamenei),’ ‘Damn you, Ali Khamenei,’ and ‘Long live the National Liberation Army of Iran.’
