Iran: The Staggering Coronavirus Death Toll Exceeds 362,400

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Saturday, August 14, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 547 cities is more than 362,400. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 85,246, Isfahan 24,350, Khorasan Razavi 22,935, Khuzestan 22,751, Mazandaran 14,040, East Azerbaijan 13,688, Lorestan 13,260, West Azerbaijan 12,973, Fars 12,642, Gilan 11,935, Sistan and Baluchestan 10,695, Alborz 10,628, Kerman 9,138, Golestan 8,625, Kermanshah 6,598, Yazd 6,333, Hormozgan 6,255, North Khorasan 4,909, Ardabil 4,405, Zanjan 3,800, Ilam 3,668, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 2,749.

On August 12, 2021, Alireza Zali, head of the National Coronavirus Combat Taskforce in Tehran confessed that the regime “concealed the COVID-19 death toll from the World Health Organization (WHO); and returned international aid and Médecins Sans Frontières from the airport,” according to the state-run Jahan-e-Sana’t daily today. “The officials lied to WHO, resulting in the death of more than 95,000 Iranians. This is a very serious issue … Considering that today the death toll is approaching 600 daily, those officials who are responsible for the death of our compatriots must be brought to justice.”
