Iranian Resistance calls for return to Camp Ashraf to stop Qods Force stealing

NCRI – At midnight on Tuesday, February 5, elements of clerical regime’s terrorist Qods Force, with collaboration of Iraqi forces, trespassed the perimeter fence of Ashraf on the northeast and stole or destroyed a considerable amount of electric cables and equipment in this section. Damaging the lighting system they paved the way for further robberies. As residents approached the area, the elements run away taking the stolen property with them.
In its statement of February 4, the Iranian Resistance revealed a new conspiracy by the terrorist Qods Force according to which this force is planning to take advantage of the limited number of Ashraf residents and through covert entry into Ashraf steal residents’ property or set them on fire. In this statement, the Iranian Resistance called for the return of a group of residents from Camp Liberty to Ashraf to help in guarding the property until their final disposition and further emphasized, “These individuals can be among the residents already interviewed by the UNHCR and finalized their refugee status determination process.”

Iranian Resistance warns of the consequences of these criminal acts and reminds responsibility of the United Nations and the Special Representative of Secretary-General that through his approval or silence in view of constant breach of residents’ rights by Government of Iraq opens the way for ridding them of their ownership and the plunder of their property.
